Delivering Safe and Efficient Airfield Operations is a pivotal role at Melbourne Airport. You’ll ensure the safe and efficient operation of our airfield during critical infrastructure upgrades.

As a skilled and proactive Airfield Coordinator, you will manage amendments to normal airfield operations during infrastructure upgrades and maintenance projects. This involves engaging with various stakeholders to minimise operational impact while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will support Melbourne Airport’s capital plans by collaborating on closures, laydown areas, and disruptive works to minimise impact on operations.

Developing and distributing documentation to inform stakeholders of operational or infrastructure changes is also a key responsibility. Additionally, effective communication of project information to stakeholders is crucial.

This role requires a deep understanding of Airfield Operations, including roles, functions, and processes. Knowledge of MOS 139 regulations is also essential.

Key qualifications include attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset. Experience raising NOTAMs and preparing Method of Working Plans (MOWPs) is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical information confidently are also required.

Engaging and collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders is a core aspect of this role.
