Industrial Plant Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production site.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining optimal production levels by performing regular maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
- Carrying out repairs and servicing of machinery, including treatment plant, stacking equipment, kilns, heat plant, moulders, and transfer belts.
- Using sound judgment to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Minimizing downtime through quick fixes and thorough repairs between shifts.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Substantial experience as a maintenance technician in a production or manufacturing environment.
- A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is highly regarded.
- Relevant tickets such as working at heights, confined spaces, forklift license are desirable.
- Effective communication skills with team members and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality work, capable of working independently and in a team.
- Willingness to adapt for continuous improvement.
