Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Entry Professional to join our Construction NSW division in the Illawarra region. The successful candidate will participate in our 2-year cadet and graduate program, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the construction industry, including engineering, design, estimating, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive proactive measures to maintain a safe workplace environment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, occupational health & safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist with trade package tendering, including document compilation and submission.
  • Manage project documents, including maintenance of a control register and issue of documentation.
  • Perform general site duties, office, and administration tasks as required.

Requirements

Applicants must be studying a construction/building tertiary course at a recognized institution, ideally in their second or third year. They should also possess working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, with the ability to learn new software packages as required.

A high level of professionalism, work ethic, and timeliness, accuracy, and punctuality are essential. Attendance at lectures during work hours should not exceed one full day or two half-days per week.
