Live Broadcast Audio Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to set up, operational test and manage audio/communications facilities on live broadcast projects.

This is an opportunity to work in a live broadcast environment with a global company. The ideal candidate will have exceptional drive, strong technical skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all audio communication facilities in and around the OB compound are functioning and patched to be operationally ready by the scheduled hand-over time.
  • Liaise with the project's Audio Director and Technical Manager to ensure you are fully briefed on the size, scope, production schedule of the in-field audio and communications facilities required.
  • Manage the environment of the audio and communications facilities to ensure they are neat, tidy and professionally presented.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Riedel and RTS communications systems.
  • Basic knowledge of audio consoles, with particular focus on LAWO and Calrec.
  • Good level of operational experience and understanding of these devices at an engineering level.
  • Minimum 3 years of television broadcasting experience.
