Traffic/Transport Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transport Engineer to join our dedicated team in Melbourne.
This role involves delivering accurate and efficient transport engineering services on a range of projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing traffic and parking data using SIDRA Intersection modelling and Excel.
- Preparing traffic and transport impact assessments for private and public projects.
- Conducting site inspections and gathering information on road environment, traffic, and road safety observation.
- Assessing and providing design advice for intersection and parking layouts.
- Obtaining and assessing crash data.
- Undertaking road safety assessments.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years' experience working in traffic and transport engineering, with familiarity with analytical software packages such as SIDRA.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex information effectively.
- Experience working in a consulting environment or local/state government in a similar role.
- A good understanding of best practice standards, current trends, and legislation.
- A positive attitude towards learning and development.
