We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader to join our team at our plant in Narangba, Queensland.

The role plays a critical part in ensuring the warehouse operations meet high standards. A dedicated professional with strong focus on detail and leadership skills is required to ensure safe warehouse and yard operations, inventory disciplines are maintained and support efficient processing of inbound, transfer and outbound transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and accomplishment of specific warehouse KPI's related to safety, quality and productivity.
  • Providing support for staff, drivers, contractors and visitors as needed to ensure safety standards are followed.
  • Acting as an on-site resource to guide, train and direct personnel to their specific tasks during their shift.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and validity of goods transfer to and from the production site, including inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Co-ordination and work with the Inventory Controller to ensure monthly stocktakes are completed in full.

Requirements:

  • Relevant computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated warehousing / storeperson experience.
  • Current forklift licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of management.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to display leadership behaviours.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment and be versatile/flexible.

A Certificate IV in Food Processing (Manufacturing) and experience with Export Logistics and customs processes are desirable.
