**About the Role**:

We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Operations Manager to join our commercial operations in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for performing variety of quality checks on our equipment and machinery.

This role reports directly to the Distribution Centre / Warehouse Manager. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 01:00AM to 09:00AM.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Supervise and actively participate in the daily operations of the warehouse including pick, pack and dispatch of stock
  • Accurately check and receive incoming goods
  • Lead, train and mentor the warehouse team
  • Ensure effective management of freight contractors and couriers ensuring an effective delivery/receiving system
  • Proactively manage WHS standards and workplace policies applicable to the warehouse
  • Oversight of warehouse maintenance schedule including equipment
  • A thorough understanding and implementation of warehouse management system to help optimise performance
  • Manage inventory control including regular cycle counts, stock rotations, assist with stocktakes, and maintain accurate records in collaboration with the Procurement Manager

**Essential Requirements**:

  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Expertise and experience in warehouse management procedures and best practice
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills fostering a positive work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good level of computer and software skills plus ability to learn new programs
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail supported by strong data and numerical skills
  • Current forklift and driver's licence
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative
  • Ability to comply with and support workplace health and safety requirements

**Desirable Skills**:

  • Truck licence is desirable
