We are seeking a skilled Building and Pest Inspector to undertake inspections of homes in Ipswich, Logan, and Coolangatta.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects and make a real difference in ensuring the safety and integrity of homes.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough building and pest inspections to identify defects, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
- Prepare detailed reports with practical recommendations for homeowners to ensure their properties are safe and compliant.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and reports.
- MUST BE a Registered/Licensed Builder.
- MUST HAVE completed Residential Building Inspections course.
- Completed (or on the way to completing) timber pest units: CPPUPM3008 – Inspect for and Report on Timber Pests and CPPUPM3010 – Control Timber Pests.
- Proven experience as a Building & Pest Inspector, Registered/Licensed Builder, or Licensed Pest Technician.
- Physically capable of inspecting sub-floors, roof spaces, and external roofs.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Police check and valid driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle required.
