Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain structured cabling infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cabling, to ensure high-speed data transmission and reliable communication systems.
- Commissioning and Fault Finding: Commission and fault-find communications infrastructure, including telecommunications equipment and network devices, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise directly with the Communications Site Foreman and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of projects.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with safety procedures and protocols.
- Valid Registration: Hold a valid Registered Cablers Licence.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong problem-solving skills and excellent technical knowledge of structured cabling and communications systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Commercial Experience: Have experience working in a commercial environment and complying with safety standards.
- Project Experience: Have experience working on commercial, health infrastructure, education, defence, data centre, retail, and multi-storey residential projects.
- Teamwork: Be able to work effectively in a team environment and support and assist team members when required.
- Time Management: Be able to deliver under tight deadlines and achieve high levels of quality with attention to detail.
- Driver's Licence: Hold a valid Driver's Licence to attend sites.
