Housing Support Leader

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the provision of Initial Assessment and Planning services, ensuring a consistent and best-practice approach. This role involves close collaboration with other programs, external agencies, and housing providers to ensure continuity of support and improved outcomes for clients.
The Coordinator will foster a strong safety focus within the team, supporting the physical and psychological safety and wellbeing of staff while striving for consistency in performance and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a consistent and best-practice approach to Initial Assessment and Planning, within the Entry Point and across IAP outposts.
- Establish and maintain operational procedures which impact on activities undertaken, the safety of staff, and outcomes achieved by the service program.
- Effectively support, establish, and sustain service level partnerships.
- Foster a strong safety focus within the team to support the physical and psychological safety and wellbeing of the team.
This role requires demonstrated experience in client-facing human services, social work, or other relevant discipline, with a preference for an understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context, and systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting staff who work with people with complex needs, as well as demonstrated leadership skills and previous experience managing staff.
