**Primary Purpose**

The House Team Leader's role includes primarily dealing with client care issues, staffing matters, supervision of the carers and staff and handling administrative responsibilities within an accommodation house.

Duties that include:

- the allocation of clients throughout the accommodation house;
- allocation of staff; assisting with emergency situations;
- covering the house to perform administrative leadership and management during weekends and holidays as needed;
- ensuring departmental and organisational standards are maintained; ensuring objectives and policies are followed to exacting standards and interacting with administrative staff and regulatory agencie**s.**:

- Coordinating with Care Manager/Coordinator to organize monthly house team meetings
- Making sure to check clients' files, clients' progress notes and other documentation/checklist are completed and well organised.
- Cooperate with internal and external audits if it is required
- Covering support staff duty if needed.

Qualifications:

- Certificate IV in Disability or a Certificate III in Individual Support
- Must have Valid NDIS Screencheck
- Must have Work with Children Check
- Must have valid First aid and CPR Certificate
- Must have valid and renewed police check
- with least one year of work experience as a House TEAM LEADER preferably with an NDIS provider and Care centers.
- Preferably with experience working as Disability Support Worker
- Goood communication skills both orally and verbal
- Good administration skills; must be keen to details.
- Hardworking, self-motivated, flexible and pro-active.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $36.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glen Waverley, VIC 3150: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- House Team Leader: 1 year (required)
- Disability Support Worker: 10 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Screencheck (required)
- Work with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
