Job Overview:

The Cybersecurity and Assurance Team provides strategic leadership, governance, solutions, and advice for effective information management.

This team maintains the Information Communication and Technology infrastructure for a Federal Government Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement agreed controls to ensure compliance with ISM controls and achieve maturity levels under SAMM.

Work with stakeholders to deliver activities and establish new practices, tools, procedures, etc.

Monitor workflows to maintain agreed maturity and ensure correct documentation.

Follow instructions from the Chief Information Officer and Cybersecurity and Assurance Manager.

Key Attributes:

Significant experience with security tools, methods, and documentation relevant to a DevSecOps workflow (5+ years).

Demonstrated understanding of OWASP SAMM.

Excellent communications skills, including negotiation outcomes amongst diverse stakeholders and writing well.
