Expert Cybersecurity Specialist

A highly skilled and experienced cybersecurity specialist is required to lead customer conversations by advising on risk compliance activities, creating and executing cybersecurity strategy with CISOs/CXOs, and learning and utilising leading cloud security tools, compliance tools and threat hunting methodologies to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.

This role involves:

  • Advising clients on risk compliance activities
  • Developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies
  • Learning and applying best practices in cloud security, compliance and threat hunting

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cyber governance, risk management, policy and compliance roles, with a proven track record of delivering cyber assurance delivery engagements in Government.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading client conversations by advising on risk compliance activities
  • Creating and executing cybersecurity strategy with senior leadership
  • Staying up-to-date with industry innovations and trends through continuous training and professional development

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience in cyber governance, risk management, policy and compliance roles
  • Proven experience delivering cyber assurance delivery engagements in Government
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and assessment activities (e.g., IRAP, Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF) and knowledge of the NIST CSF

Australia Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) security clearance is required for this role.
