Our client, Legato Technologies is a cybersecurity company focused on systematically changing the way organisations make cybersecurity decisions. Legato Technologies are a new and dynamic company that is not only disrupting the cybersecurity industry but also changing the professional services landscape.

Legato are rapidly expanding and seeking experienced Cyber Security Consultants that can drive impact with key clients in the Federal and State Government sectors.

Legato has an executive team with extensive experience leading global cybersecurity firms specialising in cyber cloud platform security offerings, Government Risk Compliance (GRC), incident response and threat detection capabilities.

**The Role**:
You will be leading Legato customer conversations by advising on risk compliance activities, creating and execution of cybersecurity strategy with CISOs / CXOs. You will be learning and utilising leading cloud security tools, compliance tools and threat hunting methodologies to solve complex cybersecurity challenges for Legato customers.

You will be provided industry leading training to keep up with industry innovations and trends. You will be encouraged to "design and shape" cybersecurity offerings and promote / champion these offerings. Legato will assist you to undertake industry cyber security certifications and cloud solution provider (CSP) certifications.

You will need to demonstrate:

- 3+ years in cyber governance, risk management, policy and compliance roles
- Proven experience delivering cyber assurance delivery engagements in Government
- Experience with cyber security frameworks and assessment activities e.g., IRAP, Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF and knowledge of the NIST CSF
- Desirable experience with cloud platforms with assurance activities and or providing security related advice
- Ability to lead engagements, build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
- Effective verbal and written communication to suit technical and non-technical audiences

As Legato's primary clients are Federal and State Government sectors you will be required to have (or be able to obtain) an AGSVA security clearance of NV1 or above.
