Job Overview

The Clinical Healthcare Support Specialist will provide clinical and program support to the staff of the Allied Health Department. This will be achieved through a close working relationship with senior staff and clinical service providers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a defined range of treatments as prescribed by the Allied Health Professional and work under their general supervision, including the use of decision support tools, clinical pathways and guidelines.
  • Contribute to patient records according to organisational and legal requirements as per the Allied Health Delegation Framework.
  • Assist in preparation of assessment, treatment and clinical processes for patients including intake of referrals, management of referrals and medical charts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Possession of Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) certificates/qualifications or progression towards completion.
  • Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
