We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of civil infrastructure facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with engineers on the design and layout of civil / infrastructure facilities
  • Detailed engineering of typical infrastructure facilities including bulk earthworks detailing, detailed earthworks design and specifications, surface runoff drainage works, stormwater drainage network, roads, underground utility piping, road and rail alignment design, elevation design and bridge modeling
  • Ensure the timely preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals, including problem analysis and review of design
  • Perform calculations and basic preliminary analyses
  • Check manufacturer's drawings and data for compliance with specifications
  • Prepare specifications and design calculations
  • Assist in developing or reviewing material quantity estimates
  • Assist in the detailed development of established design concepts for process systems, structures and equipment
  • Use engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD and or CAE) tools as directed
  • Compile, verify and correlate data relating to engineering problems
  • Assist in evaluating suppliers
  • Provide input to and/or maintain records for equipment and components
  • Assist in preparing material requisitions, specifications and other related procurement documents
Benefits:

This part-time telework position may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of civil infrastructure facilities.

This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with engineers to ensure the timely preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals, including problem analysis and review of design.

You will also be responsible for performing calculations and basic preliminary analyses, checking manufacturer's drawings and data for compliance with specifications, and preparing specifications and design calculations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of [X] years of experience in civil engineering.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for this role.

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD and or CAE) tools, and experience working with civil infrastructure facilities.
