About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team at Dorevitch Pathology, a leading healthcare organisation in Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention
  • Maintain accurate records for every patient and sample
  • Ensure timely documentation and preparation of specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a related healthcare background
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
  • Ability to work autonomously and sometimes independently in a solo clinic
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship, or valid visa with permission to work

Vaccine Requirements

  • Hepatitis B vaccination is a requirement of this role
  • Other vaccinations may be required based on location
