About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Dorevitch Pathology, a leading healthcare organisation in Australia.
As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, using your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results.
You will work closely with our passionate team to positively impact the health of Australians, playing a pivotal role in providing accurate and reliable laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting samples with care and attention
- Maintaining meticulous records for every patient and sample
- Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
- Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
- Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers

About You
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and independently in a solo clinic
- Hold a valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
- Vaccine preventable disease evidence and other vaccinations may be required
Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
