Underground Mining Engineer Career Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mining Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in key areas of the mining cycle, including truck operation, service crew management, charge-up coordination, bogger operation, and drilling. They will also participate in project engineer training and advance to more senior roles within the company.

Our comprehensive 24-month Graduate Mining Engineer Program offers newly qualified engineers the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world underground mining environment. Graduates will rotate through essential operational roles, gaining invaluable experience that will set the stage for their future careers.

Upon completion of the program, you'll have the opportunity to advance along either the operational career path or pursue a technical career by transferring to our engineering services division.

What You'll Need:

To be eligible for our Graduate Mining Engineer Program, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A completed Mining Engineering degree
  • Full working rights in Australia or the ability to obtain a Visa
  • A valid Manual Driver's License
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • A genuine enthusiasm to engage in various roles throughout the program

The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
