Neighbourhood Administration Role Overview

This is a key position within our organisation, requiring a high level of coordination and communication to ensure the smooth operation of neighbourhood teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting different departments, managing requests and inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Support various teams in each neighbourhood by coordinating tasks and projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Manage requests, concerns, and inquiries from various stakeholders
  • Assist with rostering and scheduling support for the neighbourhood team
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence and documentation as required
  • Organise appointments, diaries, travel, and meeting/workshop arrangements efficiently
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and repair
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of information in financial, human resource, and other organisational systems and databases
  • Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and database applications (Intermediate – Advanced skills required)
  • Collaborate with senior staff on special projects as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in rostering/scheduling
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications
  • Confidence with digital devices or willingness to learn
