About the Role

We are seeking a talented Apprentice Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Ovolo Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the day-to-day kitchen operation by fulfilling duties as instructed by senior members of the kitchen team.
  • Assist chefs in delivering great tasting, well-presented food in appropriate timeframes, following legal food safety standards and procedures.
  • Ensure allocated areas are cleaned and maintained in line with company standards.
  • Deliver the highest levels of service with prompt and polite responses to all requests.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of the product, technical skills, cooking methodologies, plate presentation, and compliance with all kitchen and legal standards.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about cooking and delivering exceptional customer service. As our 2nd Year Apprentice Chef, you will thrive on the pressure of the kitchen, understanding that mise en place and teamwork are key to a successful service. You will ideally have 1 year of work experience and be attending trade school, looking to take the next step in your career.
