We're seeking passionate and knowledgeable individuals to showcase the best of Tasmania's natural beauty.

As a Tour Guide, you'll deliver high levels of interpretation and storytelling on our day tours to Tasmania's National Parks and major sightseeing destinations.

Share Tasmania's rich cultural heritage in a fun and engaging style.

About the Role

  • Run small group day tours to Tasmania's iconic short walks and nature hotspots.
  • Focus on sharing knowledge about Tasmania's unique flora and fauna.
  • Be experienced in a Tour Guiding role in Australia with excellent communication skills.
  • Be physically fit and able to lead groups in challenging outdoor environments.
  • Have a genuine interest in Tasmania, travel, and cultural experiences.
  • Be reliable, down-to-earth, and enjoy working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Hold a Light Rigid (LR) Driving License or higher.
  • Hold a Public Passenger Ancillary Certificate.
  • Hold a Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) or higher.
  • Be an experienced driver of Toyota Commuter & Coaster passenger vehicles (auto and manual essential).

Roster & Schedule

Tours operate Monday – Friday (no weekend or public holiday work).

Low season: More flexibility for time off & holidays.

Peak season: Full availability required across Monday to Friday.
