Are you passionate about the outdoors and sharing unforgettable experiences with others?

We are seeking highly motivated, friendly, and knowledgeable individuals to join our team as Tour Guides.

This role involves leading small group day tours to Tasmania's stunning National Parks and major sightseeing destinations, focusing on nature, wildlife, and the island's iconic short walks.

Our tours start and finish in the same location, requiring no overnight stays. A typical day runs from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead small group day tours to Tasmania's National Parks and major sightseeing destinations.
  • Focus on delivering high levels of interpretation and storytelling along the way.
  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all tour participants.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a Tour Guiding role in Australia.
  • Fitness and activity level suitable for outdoor work.
  • Genuine interest in Tasmania, nature, and travel.
  • Reliability, down-to-earth attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Light Rigid (LR) Driving License or higher.
  • Public Passenger Ancillary Certificate.
  • Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) or higher.
  • Experience driving Toyota Commuter & Coaster passenger vehicles (auto and manual essential).

We operate tours year-round, providing a stable income stream for our guides. Our low season offers more flexibility for time off and holidays, while our peak season requires full availability across Monday to Friday.

Our Hobart-based tour schedule covers areas such as Mt. Field National Park and Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park.
