Education and Training Position

This role focuses on providing quality educational services, including training, assessment, and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality education and training programs, assessing student performance, and guiding students towards achieving their goals. The lecturer may also be involved in consultancy services for industry/community clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience. They should have trade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate III and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116).

  • Expertise in advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding, along with comprehensive fabrication skills.
  • Understanding of current fabrication industry trends, knowledge, and cultural practices.
  • Familiarity with the MEM Training Package and its application in vocational education.
  • Proficient in using digital tools to support training delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
