Perioperative Nurse Specialist

About the Role
The Registered Nurse Level 2 is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, provide leadership in the anaesthetics and or recovery specialty within the perioperative area that encompasses best practise, enhances service delivery and ensures optimal patient care in accordance with the mission and values of Calvary Health Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Post graduate experience in the perioperative setting and a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or working towards same
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
