Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our residents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct clinical care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal resident outcomes.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing resident care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in aged care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
