Job Title: Community Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Occupational Therapist to join our team at HealthcareLink. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based services to individuals of all ages and abilities, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and provide interventions for children and adults with a range of disabilities, working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement, in accordance with the NDIS.
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for assistive technology, ensuring clients have access to the tools and resources they need to thrive.
  • Document and report client progress, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing tasks and ensuring effective client management.
  • Participate in regular meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources.
  • Utilize leading software platforms and online tools to streamline workflow and enhance client outcomes.

Essential Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA).
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption).
  • Police Check and International Police Check (if applicable).
  • Drivers' license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Car insurance.
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
  • First Aid (optional).
