About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at YesAbility, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing tailored therapy services to help them achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop therapy plans for clients
  • Deliver therapy services to clients in their homes, schools, or community settings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor / Master of Occupational Therapy
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with a disability
  • Current Worker Screening
  • New Worker - NDIS Induction Module
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role (Preferably with NDIS participants)
  • Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor participant progress
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively
  • Experience delivering therapy services to children, young people, and adults is desired
  • Home modification experience desired but not necessary
  • Comply with legal and certification requirements at all times
