Freight Operations Manager

We are seeking a logistics leader to join our operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing transport planning and scheduling processes in conjunction with trading and operational teams.
Key responsibilities include managing the transport team, capacity and operational planning, carrier and fleet performance management, and transport systems implementation and governance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in building and leading teams in a complex, fast-paced environment, as well as advanced stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 5+ years of logistics management experience, ideally in a transport planning environment
- Experience in both fleet and carrier management
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of allocating various vehicle types, capacity, specifications, load configuration, and load restraint
- Advanced stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
