Housekeeping Assistant Role

The role is a vital component of our housekeeping services, focusing on maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. You will be working closely with the Facility Manager and the Hotel Services Team Leader to provide high-quality cleaning and laundry services.

  • Cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, main entrance, outdoor entertainment areas, admin offices, and dining halls.
  • Providing laundry services.
  • Ensuring residents' daily needs are met.

This role requires physical stamina, as you will be doing a lot of bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely.

You are a compassionate person with a customer service mindset, who is a strong communicator and problem solver. You 'think on your feet,' build supportive relationships, and strive for the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and order within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated cleaning experience required.
  • Ability to work off-set checklists on a daily basis and follow agreed procedures for safety.
  • Ability to work with chemicals, hazardous products, and heated equipment in a very safe manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and high empathy as interacting with residents is a daily occurrence.
  • Ability to turn up to shift on time, be ready to start your shifts, and follow the day's activities in a positive manner.
  • Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times so everyone goes home safe and positive.
