Senior Application Strategist

The role of Senior Application Strategist is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of ERP platforms and corporate applications.

  • This position entails leading operational service delivery and project teams, driving aspects from planning to execution, implementation, change management, and transition.
  • The successful candidate will oversee the ERP Service Delivery team, providing functional and production support for the core ERP system (Workday) and other integrated systems.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to optimize investments in ERP and Corporate Applications, reducing total cost of ownership and capturing value from the delivered platform.
  • Effective vendor relationship management is essential, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and leveraging vendor roadmaps to benefit the organization.
  • A customer-focused approach is critical, working closely with senior business representatives to understand and translate business requirements into project scope.

This role suits someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences including:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven ability to influence discussions and decisions with deep stakeholder management skills.
  • Extensive experience in digital strategy development and leading large teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday as a platform, payroll technologies, architectural experience, and IT methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiations.
  • A growth mindset and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships at all levels.
