About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Consultant to join our team at Civica. As an Education Consultant, you will work closely with educational institutions to provide expert guidance and support on the implementation and utilization of our education technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of Professional Services: Provide high-quality training and support to customers on the use of our timetabling solutions and services.
  • Customer Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from customers on their use of our software and provide recommendations for improvement to the project manager, account manager, and product team leader.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an internal subject matter expert for timetabling practices and software, providing guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
  • Escalated Support Tickets: Assist with the resolution of escalated support tickets and provide timely and effective solutions to customers.
  • Implementation and Product Issues: Collaborate with the warranty, support, and consulting teams to investigate and resolve implementation and product issues.
  • Key Performance Targets: Meet or exceed key performance targets and objectives, ensuring high-quality professional services are delivered to customers.
  • Commercial Outcomes: Work with other parts of the Civica organization to achieve desired commercial outcomes.
  • Customer Referrals: Ensure that the professional services provided are of high quality, promoting customer referrals and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Possess relevant timetabling software and process experience to provide advice to customers and ensure business outcomes are met.
  • Accountability: Demonstrate a high level of accountability in the delivery of professional services.
  • Quality and Improvement: Foster and promote an ethic of quality and improvement consistent with a professional consulting role.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver projects in line with agreed project plans, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers at all levels, building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communication: Communicate confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate outstanding time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and organization skills.
  • Self-Improvement: Be highly motivated, committed to self-improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Work independently as a self-starter, while also being part of a team.
  • Communication: Possess high-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel: Be flexible to travel interstate and overseas as required.
