Technical Support Specialist

Rapiscan Systems is a leading provider of security and inspection systems worldwide.

We offer a range of products used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles, and other objects for contraband. Our devices can be found in airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports, terminals, government installations, and nuclear facilities.

The Technical Support Specialist has technical responsibility for ensuring sites meet contracted service agreements. This role executes routine work including installation, repair, and maintenance support of our Checkpoint & Trace products in Australia and New Zealand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Checkpoint & Trace products at customer sites.
  • Routine preventative and breakdown maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide out-of-hour standby cover as part of established teams.
  • Carry out basic operator and technical training when required at customer sites.
  • Carry out site surveys and advise customers on technical matters prior to installations.
  • Complete reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Comply with quality assurance and health and safety requirements.
  • Travel as required.

Qualifications:

  • Min 2+ Years of experience in similar roles.
  • An electrical or electronic background is preferred.
  • A high level of organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Australian citizenship is required.
