About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Partner to join our Group Strategy function. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in supporting our Strategy Managers and Head of Group Strategy to design and deliver Coles' strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing fact-based insight to inform key business strategies and corporate plans
  • Conducting analysis and structured problem-solving to develop and articulate initiatives and key success metrics on key strategic issues
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business as a strategic thought partner and driver of execution against strategic initiatives
  • Making a positive contribution to the development of the culture and capability of the Group Strategy team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience working with complex analytical problem-solving and presenting findings to senior business stakeholders
  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, product strategy, or retail strategy
  • A high level of proficiency using relevant tools and techniques, such as PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous experience in managing work-streams within projects
  • Experience in writing or contributing to board-level presentations and reports
  • Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Previous experience in working with cross-functional business units
  • Ability to work in a high-performance team environment
