Job Overview:

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the daily operations of a taxi truck division, ensuring smooth management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Responsibilities include managing the daily running of the division, allocating and monitoring truck jobs, as well as staff and customer management.
  • Collaborate with the time-critical operations team to optimize efficiency, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, including WHS, COR, NHVR, and FedEx policy and procedures.
  • Utilize resources effectively to drive continuous business improvement while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Coordinate efficient taxi truck allocation in accordance with customer needs within regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor driver current jobs to ensure timely delivery windows are met.
  • Maintain working knowledge of general carriers contract determination.
  • Verify the scanning and recording of all proof of deliveries for accurate data collation and KPI achievement.
  • Establish open communication channels with other teams while upholding integrity.
  • Complete training on internal procedures, scanning, and compliance requirements.
  • Achieve 100% compliance with scanning and proof of delivery on all consignments.
  • Resolve customer service inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement solutions.
