Job Description

Deliver environmental health services across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) and Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS) to protect, promote and prevent risks to the community arising from environmental health hazards that impact on the natural and built environment and human health.

This role involves enforcing regulations and implementing strategies to prevent harm and promote public health. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify and address environmental health concerns.

  • Regulatory compliance and enforcement

  • Community engagement and education
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary degree in Environmental Health or a related field
  • Professional registration with Environmental Health Australia or eligibility for appointment by the Queensland Health Environmental Health Officer Appointments Review Committee
  • Desirable: Certificate IV in Investigation or Bachelor of Law
