About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domestic Support Worker to join our team. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will provide domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties to our Home Care clients, enabling them to live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties to Home Care clients
  • Support clients to maintain their independence and quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Home or Aged Care (advantageous but not essential)
  • Passion for supporting others and making a difference in the community
  • Strong relationship building, time management, and budget management skills
  • Previous case management experience and relevant qualifications
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A safe and sensible approach with a practical understanding of people's physical limitations
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients' individual needs
