About This Role

Programmed is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Support Worker to join our community nursing team in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our Veteran and Aged community living at home.

This is a casual role with a requirement of 20 to 30 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance. You will be paid your hourly rate for the entirety of the shift, with an additional 99 cents/km reimbursement for travel between clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing light domestic duties support to clients in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Supporting clients with their daily routines and activities
  • Working collaboratively with our community nursing team to ensure high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Experience in a comparable role
  • Good time management skills
  • Current police clearance certificate (within the last 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling Certificate
  • Covid-19 Vaccinations (minimum x 2, essential for work in the aged care sector)
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • RELIABLE, REGISTERED AND INSURED MOTOR VEHICLE - ESSENTIAL
