This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work on various projects in a friendly and supportive environment.
The role involves preparing flood studies, floodplain management plans, and risk assessments. The candidate will communicate flood conditions, government compliance requirements, and the impacts of proposed development on flood conditions for upstream and downstream properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management techniques. Proficiency in TUFLOW, DRAINS/XP-Rafts, and MUSIC is also required.
Requirements and Skills- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in civil engineering and flood management-related projects.
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.
This role requires Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent client service. If you have the relevant skills and experience, we would like to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare flood studies, floodplain management plans, and risk assessments.
- Communicate flood conditions, government compliance requirements, and the impacts of proposed development on flood conditions for upstream and downstream properties.
- Manage communications between clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring the delivery of quality and timely solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver various projects.
- Coordinate resources, including team members, third-party contractors, and/or consultants, to deliver projects according to the plan.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Implement and document quality control processes.
- Assist in managing project budgets, invoicing, and variations where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
- Address client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
