About The Role- The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons in junior Geography, History, Commerce, and Business Studies for Years 7-12.
- They will encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through active learning and real-world applications.
- Promoting student engagement by making history, geography, and business topics relevant to contemporary issues.
- Supporting the intellectual and personal growth of students while fostering a love for learning within the HSIE curriculum.
- Collaborating with other department members to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- A strong passion for HSIE subjects and a commitment to engaging students through dynamic and inclusive teaching methods.
- Experience teaching junior Geography, History, Commerce, and Business Studies (Years 7-12), with a deep understanding of the NESA syllabus.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Current NESA registration (or ability to obtain).
