Accounts Receivable Officer Job Description

As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for managing the cash inflow and outflow processes. Your primary focus will be on daily bank reconciliations, allocating/receipting payments, issuing invoices, and ensuring efficient credit/collections procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily bank reconciliations
  • Allocate and receipt payments in accordance with organisational policies
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain effective credit and collections procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional manner
  • Perform administrative duties as required

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of cash management principles
  • Ideal candidate has worked in a professional services industry and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Able to liaise effectively with stakeholders and build strong relationships
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail are essential
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise tasks effectively
