Collection Manager Role

The Library seeks an experienced Content Collections Lead to develop and implement a strategic plan for collections management, ensuring alignment with user needs. This role will lead the team in delivering selection, acquisition, description, licensing, negotiation, and collection analysis services.
- Lead Agreements and Negotiations, Collection Acquisition and Activation, and Metadata teams to deliver rich digital, general, and special content and collections.
- Collaborate with leaders across the Library to support the Director, Collections and Technology Division in delivering the University Library's strategy and operations.
- Maintain strong governance and integrity in acquiring and managing collections, ensuring alignment with user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for collections management.
- Lead the team in delivering selection, acquisition, description, licensing, negotiation, and collection analysis services.
- Collaborate with leaders across the Library to support the Director, Collections and Technology Division.

- Proven experience in leading teams and developing strategic plans.
- Strong understanding of collections management principles and practices.
