About This Role

CAE Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heloicpter Training Instructor to join our team in Nowra, Australia. As a Helicopter Training Instructor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training and instruction to students on the MH-60R aircraft system.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled training sessions for students using traditional and modern tools such as interactive whiteboards, computers, and video projector systems.
  • Evaluate and document student performance during training sessions.
  • Review curriculum and recommend improvements to the training program via established protocols.
  • Provide classroom instruction and recommendations for improvement, including test materials, lesson plans, and trainee guides under current directives.
  • Conduct training device operation instruction to personnel as necessary, including briefing, debriefing, and grading/assessments.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 500 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, medium helicopter or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of instructional experience in an aircrew training environment on military rotary wing platforms.
  • Must have completed at least one sea-going tour.
  • Act 3 Flight Crew Certificate (ACTC) Level IV desirable.
  • ASW dipping sonar experience highly desired.
