Senior Strategic Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to take on a senior leadership role as Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level strategic advice and operational support to Principals and leadership teams, contributing to effective governance and school management.
This role involves travel to remote Queensland schools each term. As Project Manager, you will liaise with staff in various areas of the department to brief senior officers on emergent and critical issues that may require sensitive management and/or immediate attention.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure effective communication, integration, coordination and liaison occurs within the school, with partner schools and the region and with other external stakeholders.
- Critically analyse, manage, and refine the school's corporate information systems and processes in line with continuous improvement practices.
- Manage significant facilities projects including negotiating with external contractors to ensure accountability for school maintenance and develop and implement initiatives for facilities management, asset maintenance and replacement plans.
- Achieve qualifications in project management or related field.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Principals and leadership teams.
