Legal Expertise in Canberra
We are seeking an experienced solicitor to join our team and help establish a new branch in Canberra. The successful candidate will have a strong background in generalist law, with experience in family law, civil litigation, wills and probate, maritime law, and criminal law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and barristers to grow the Canberra branch.
- Provide tailored advice to clients to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Establish and maintain client relationships through regular communication.
- Prepare court documents, correspondence, and briefs for barristers.
- Manage case files with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years PQE practicing as an Australian solicitor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in SMOKEBALL Legal Software.
- Adept analysis of legal matters, research, and drafting skills.
- Experience in business development and managing client expectations.
- Motivated to provide excellent client service.
- Able to work autonomously and in a team.
