About the Role

A highly experienced Drill and Blast Supervisor is required for our Yiilgarn Iron ore operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving the Drill and Blast process to meet operational targets
  • Investigating problematic material blasting results and providing effective improvement strategies
  • Liaising with the Drill and Blast team and contractors to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality conforms to plans
  • Implementing reporting, operating schedules, plans, and designs to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Maintaining a working environment that promotes safety and provides exceptional service to stakeholders

This FIFO role involves an 8/6 roster from Perth on a company-owned site.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in drill and blast in an open pit environment
  • Exposure to mining contract management and operations
  • Current WA drivers licence
  • Senior First Aid certificate
  • WA Unrestricted Quarry Manager's ticket (or working towards it)
  • Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero harm culture within the workplace
