Workforce Planning Coordinator

The Workforce Planning Coordinator is responsible for managing daily rostering and leave planning, working closely with Operations and HR teams to forecast requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities include preparing accurate, compliant rosters aligned with operational needs, escalating rostering issues and recommending process improvements for efficiency, keeping workforce planning data and documentation up to date, managing annual leave planning, ensuring deadlines are met and impacts are forecast, highlighting workforce gaps early and releasing plans on schedule, and working with internal teams and external partners to support effective workforce planning.

To be successful in this role, you will require experience in workforce planning/rostering with knowledge of industrial agreements and awards, skilled in data analysis, process improvement, and actionable recommendations, proficient in Excel with strong attention to detail and process focus, effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills across all levels, able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and handle urgent requests, customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
