Job Title: Child and Family Wellbeing Worker

About the Role

This challenging role involves delivering strength-based case management and activities to children, young people, and families in line with program guidelines.

The ideal candidate will provide outreach support to assist in the development and implementation of participant-centred Family Action Plans. They will establish referral pathways into and out of the service to reach vulnerable children, young people, and families who may not otherwise engage with the mental health or children's service sector.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate level qualification in a relevant health or welfare discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children, young people, and families, including Indigenous and CALD people.
  • Understanding and application of a strength-based approach, with competence in a range of interventions relevant to children and young people.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with participants, community members, and other services.
