Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Research Administration Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative functions for the Gene Therapy Research Unit (GTRU) including assistance to the Head of Department, Grants Administration, Intellectual Property (IP) and Commercialization, establishment and administration of research agreements, records management and secretariat duties within the unit.
  • Report to the Head, Gene Therapy Research Unit and work closely with Senior Laboratory Researchers to ensure the timely, efficient and effective operation of key functions within the GTRU.
  • Play an important role in planning, development and implementation of systems and process improvement within the GTRU.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Significant high-level experience in supporting and managing corporate functions, preferably in an academic or health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
