Child Safety Administration Officer

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of child safety within research projects and initiatives. As a Child Safety Administration Officer, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of child safety across all research involving children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration Support: Provide administrative support for Child Safety initiatives, ensuring timely progression and quality standards.
  • Planning and Coordination: Facilitate thorough planning, analysis, and documentation for Child Safety programs, working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Assist in creating and disseminating child safety communications, promoting a culture of safety and cooperation among researchers and stakeholders.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Track, report, and maintain accurate attestation data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Report Compilation and Compliance: Oversee report compilation to meet established standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and University policies.
  • Culture and Advocacy: Promote a child-safe culture within the research community, advocating for best practices and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in education or research administration, demonstrating ability to manage diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to write clear, concise communications.
  • Project management expertise, with experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with teams.
  • Proficiency in data tracking and analysis using Excel, with experience in Power BI desirable.
  • Commitment to child safety and well-being, with active dedication to promoting and supporting child safety initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership engagement, with proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
